Embody healing, compassion, and lineage—the spiritual heart of Tibetan medicine in resin, copper, or gold.
Embody healing, compassion, and lineage—the spiritual heart of Tibetan medicine in resin, copper, or gold.
At NewaArt, we honor the ancient tradition of Himalayan sacred sculpture by creating statues that are more than visual artifacts—they are spiritual conduits. Our Yuthok Yönten Gönpo collection was among the first of its kind and remains one of the most refined to date. The earliest prototypes were created under the direct guidance of Dr. Nida Chenagtsang (Dr. Dida), lineage holder of the Yuthok Nyingthig tradition. This ensured each statue reflects the profound iconography, sacred geometry, and lineage energy of Yuthok himself.
These works were conceptualized and designed in close collaboration with respected lineage holders and contemporary practitioners of Sowa Rigpa. We are grateful to be affiliated with organizations and teachers who uphold the living transmission of Yuthok’s legacy, including Dr. Nida Chenagtsang of the Sowa Rigpa International Institute, Christina Polites, and the Sowa Rigpa School (Swa Ripa) community. Their trust and partnership have allowed us to ensure these statues are not only aesthetically harmonious but spiritually accurate and ritually suitable.
We specialize in fusing traditional Newa metalwork with lineage-true spiritual requirements. These statues are not only artistically faithful—they are ritually aligned, energetically appropriate, and suitable for consecration. Yuthok is depicted holding key symbols of his life’s work: the blue utpala flower representing healing, a wisdom sword, a scroll of medical knowledge, and the precious medicine jar. These elements are crafted with reverent attention to proportion and placement, reflecting teachings passed down through generations.
Designed for monasteries, personal shrines, and healing spaces around the world, each statue can be customized by size, finish, and spiritual preparation. Whether you are a traditional Tibetan doctor, Vajrayana practitioner, or sacred art collector, these figures serve as vehicles for blessing, lineage transmission, and healing presence.
Our Yuthok statue series is available in four distinct formats, each carefully adapted to different settings and devotional needs. Whether displayed on a compact personal altar or as a striking presence in a meditation hall or healing center, each version honors the same precise iconographic specifications developed under guidance from Dr. Nida and validated by lineage experts.

Contact UsYuthok Yönten Gönpo, the 12th-century physician-yogi, is the father of Tibetan Medicine. He transmitted both clinical teachings and spiritual practices in the form of the Yuthok Nyingthig—a treasure of tantric healing instructions. In our time, his icon is more than traditional—it is timeless. For practitioners and wellness professionals around the world, Yuthok represents the convergence of mindfulness, diagnosis, and sacred ritual.
Our statues help preserve this living legacy. When placed in a healing space, meditation room, or Sowa Rigpa clinic, they serve as a reminder of the sacred view: that health includes body, energy, and mind. These images resonate strongly in holistic spaces and serve as true companions to modern and traditional medicine alike.
“When I first saw the statue, I felt a presence — serene, powerful, divine. The gold gilding is exquisite, and the consecration has truly transformed our prayer room.”
“Owning a piece made with the traditional mercury gold gilding technique is like preserving sacred heritage. It’s more than art — it’s devotion cast in metal.”
“I gifted the 18-inch oxidized statue to my parents. The craftsmanship, facial expressions, and subtle spiritual energy are just extraordinary.”
